This comp is the only one in \nthis series of 5 "Lounge Music" that i can recommend highly!\n (the Duke Of Burlington "Flash" album is also very good) \nThis "Kamasutra" volume starts with 9 tracks written by none\n other than Alberto Baldan Bembo \n(see "Io E Mara" and "The Smart Set") music he wrote \nfor the soundtrack to "Codice d'amore orientale", \na 1974 movie; this is not the original soundtrack, \nbut the version (copy? adaptation, who knwos) \nBlue Marvin Orchestra recorded of it. All tracks have \nan oriental, India touch, with sitar, but the main instrument \nis the jazz guitar. Every track is arranged differently: with \na wordless chorus, or horns, a funky guitar, a full orchestra \nand bongo's... the result is magical, something close to \nGabor Szabo: inbetween jazz and rock, with a dramatic \norchestral dimension. The remaining 9 tracks are covers \nof themes from various erotic movies, like "Emmanuelle" \nand "Black Emmanuelle". If you dig the sound of extatic, \nmoaning women, you'll find some here.
