Placed Here 9/12/97\nContrary to popular belief (and the liner notes) the "Cannon in D" track on this album is not by Pachelbel at all; it is Martin Luther's fanous hymn, "A Mighty Fortress is Our God" ("Ein Feste Burg Ist Unser Gott"). The confusion probably stems from the fact that Pachelbel, like practically every other Baroque composer, wrote an organ piece called "Ein Feste Burg Ist Unser Gott" [Edit 7/20/05] YEAR: 1975\nProbably also VDP's somewhat offbeat sense of humor as well . . .
