Atlanta Rythm Section: Partly Plugged CD Track Listing
Atlanta Rythm Section
Partly Plugged (1997)
The Atlanta Rhythm Section was formed out of remnants of Roy Orbison's Candymen backup group and the smooth rockers the Classics IV around 1970. Manager/producer Buddy Buie (who had also handled Classics IV) gave the group a glossy production sheen, while nonstop touring helped to build their following. Slicker and more melodic than most Southern rock bands of the genre, they scored consistently on both the album and singles charts during their original tenure together. In 1999 the group reunited for Eufaula, their first new studio effort in a decade, and in 2000, Polydor released a fairly complete collection of hits in their Millennium Collection series. \n YEAR: 1997
