Rick Despache recorded this short set \nwe played at the radical Church Of The \nReconcilerwhich serves the homeless\n in Birmingham, Alabama, our home town \non 9/21/06. Thomas Diaz in conjuction \nwith the Birmingham Peace Project organizes \nmonthly programs with different themes, \nthis was the first of these programs, and \nthe theme was war. Each month there \nis a different theme each month. This is \nthe 2nd event we have played at this \nchurch, in spiteof the fact that several \nof the songs on our CD are very atheistic, \nsome express some deep bitterness \ntoward religion in general, but this set\nis not mean to anyone, or punk rock. \nIt's a very hippyfied set, and has been \ntweaked at home to make more pleasant \nto the listener. Most noticebly different from \nthe original version is the drum track level, \nand I brought down hiss where we weren't \nplaying, so the pre-recorded sounds in \nbetween songs could be better understood.\nAll but the instrumental are covers chosen \nby the singers of each.
