Jackson Browne Live in Burlington, VT 05/11/02 - disc 1 (2002)
CONCERT REVIEW: Saturday, May 11 at the Burlington Memorial Auditorium in Burlington, VT\n\nAnother wonderful evening with Jackson Browne in the beautiful city of Burlington, Vermont, on the "west coast of Vermont"!\n\nIt's cloudy and raining here today after a glorious day yesterday. The weather fits my subdued mood the day after seeing Jackson, a normal and expected reaction. The evening was wonderful with JB at his best and my being able to spend it with some dear local friends and a new friend, Lawrence, who came down from Montreal. I also loved meeting Elaine from Down Under, Maria and BJ. What a blast to have my worlds merge after all my travels to hear Jackson, he finally made it back to Vermont! Certainly hope Jackson will play in Melbourne for Elaine at some point! I thought Jacksonwas definitely in control last night, very smoothly playing requests along with his own agenda to make for a seemless performance.\n\nThe set list:\n\nDisc 1:\n\n101-I'm Alive\n102-Farther On\n103-The Barricades of Heaven\n104-The Next Voice You Hear\n105-Late for the Sky\n106-Rosie\n107-Your Bright Baby Blues\n108-Running on Empty\n109-Something Fine - Jackson said he had an old friend in Burl., Richard Orshoff, the producer of his first album.\n110-For a Dancer\n111-These Days - loved hearing this version on guitar which is the same one that can be heard in the movie Royal Tennenbaums and by Nico with Jackson on guitar.\n112-Fountain of Sorrow\n\nIntermission\n\nDisc 2:\n\n201-Linda Paloma\n202-Looking Into You - introduced by a story about the building of The Abby\n203-The World Love Wantsto See\n204-For Everyman\n205-Sky Blue and Black - at the end a man fromjust in front of us called out "now that's a songwriter". Jackson heardthis and smiled a little.\n206-Song for Adam\n207-Ready or Not\n208-Dr. MyEyes - Imagination\n209-Don't You Want to Be There\n210-Jamaica\n211-Pretender\n212-Take it Easy - preceded by a story about the different versions of this song around the world ending with a hilarious story about the Spanish version.\n213-Our Lady of the Well.\n\nEncore:\n\n214-I am a Patriot - nice explanation of who Little Steven is.\n\nThis was one of the best shows I've seen.
This rock cd contains 12 tracks and runs 71min 12sec.
