The 17-year old Eurohawk (Mikkel Cox) started his musical career at the age of 7, experimenting with music.\n\nHe had just gotten his hands on a copy of "Dance Ejay", a pretty lowfi sampler, with very limited possibilites.\n\nHowever, this was enough to give him the kick he needed to start making his own music. The thought of being lord of your own sound had always seemed very interesting to the - by then - 7 year old kid. And it had been, ever since he was playing radio-host with his parents audiosystem.\n\nBut the means were very limited at the time, and eventually he got tired of playing with the same samples over and over again. This ended up with him quitting electronic music for a while, and started taking classes in drums, piano, and flute.\n\nBut then something happened; the year was 2004, and he got his hands on a copy of "Fruityloops". This was still a very new program, and not as high-end as alot of the other stuff on the market, however, now he had the means to create his OWN sound. He could integrate and play with synths, aswell as make his own beats and setups. But this too, was only for a short while. Eventually, he got tired of "producing" lowquality dancetracks in numbers beyond imagination. He didn't feel that he could experiment enough, nor did he feel like he had the skill to express himself through the music, instead of just making "whatever-is-out-there" material.\n\nAgain, he picked up on acoustic instruments, and stayed with this for a while.\n\nBut then something happened in the summer of 2006 - a single track was made, for the fun of it. This track was called "Midnight", and even though the track itself wasn't very well produced or set up, it got him going. He made something that did not sound like anything else - (most of it, atleast). He took the first step on the road to finding his own sound, and the whole joy of producing electronical music came back to him.\n\nFor a long time, new tracks spat out of his musicmachine every week, some better than others. And with a huge inspiration from his biggest idols in the electronic genre, "Infected Mushroom", he tried to experiment with the psychedelic genre.\n\nBut for a long time, he had to keep his productions very simple - a homecomputer and a laptop was pretty much all he had to deal with, and so, his music-making was limited to a very low amount of RAM and cpu.\n\nThis was where he picked up on dj'ing. A friend introduced him to dj'ing, on a minor online radio-station - and within weeks he bought his own turntables, and a professional mic to start dj'ing. Besides that, he began making jingles and voice-overs, and has grown to become one of the most well known "voices" out there.\n\nBut the reason you hear what you hear today, can be traced to the day he invested in alot of studio equipment. His room was not a room anymore. It became a storageplace for all sorts of musical equipment, and as the jewel in his collection, he got his hands on a studiocomputer packed to the edge with power, and a 22" widescreen to fit it.\n\nSince that day, his productions has been lifted, and the barrier for how high he could reach has been broken, and allows him to evolve even more in the lifestyle of music.
