Stan Hunter, born in Philadelphia, is a musician, composer, arranger, and vocalist. He is a member of ASCAP, SAG, and Musician's Local 661-708. He plays all keyboards. Stan has worked with numerous well-known musicians, including Cat Anderson of the Duke Ellington All Stars, Sonny Stitt, Ben Webster, Tony Scott, John Coltrane, Sonny Fontune, Al grey, and Bobby Durham.\n\nStan has toured Canada, and Europe as well as the United States. In France, Stan is listed in the Jazz Encyclopedia's Who's Who in Jazz and is a member of the Hot Clubs of France.\n\nStan Hunter has perfomed in commercials for the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City, N.J.\n\nI have been aware of Stan Hunter for years. I have two albums in which he plays organ; "Trip on the Strip" on Prestige 7458 and the other is "Grey's Mood" which features Al Grey, Hal Singer, Clarence Brown, and Stan's long time friend Chris Columbo.
