Introducing Fionn Regan who releases his debut limited edition single 'Little Miss Drunk' on 22nd July 2002, on CD and 7" vinyl. \nFionn Regan hails from the small, sleepy, neon, seaside town of Bray on the outskirts of Dublin. Aged 12 he picked his first tunes out on an old unloved piano in a local hotel and progressed onto the guitar after that. \nHe cites Neil Young, Tom Waits, The Beatles and The Clash as his influences and his current listening includes 'Anvil favourites' Silver Jews, Sparklehorse and The Bees. \nFionn's ears are so sensitive that he can hear field mice making love in Poland from his cosy seaside flat in Brighton, where he now resides. He believes popcorn machines have souls, likes backwards cars and loves donkeys. \nHis Brighton flat ( pictured ) is decorated with oddities collected from junk markets, skips and off the street. \nFionn has just finished a UK tour support Mercury Prize Nominated Gemma Hayes. \n\nAnvil Recording co. are very happy to announce the release of the debut single in the UK from Fionn Regan. \nThe 22 year old singer / songwriter whom has recently relocated to Brighton from the outskirts of Dublin, shows off his talents on the single 'Little Miss Drunk' backed with the beautiful B-side acoustic version of 'Black Water Child'. \nThe single will be available from the 22 July at all good record shops, and through Anvil's highly advanced mail order system. \n
