This program is designed to be run under Windows 3.1, \n Windows for Workgroups 3.11 or Windows 95. It may run \n under other operating systems, but it is not designed to \n work with them.\n\n b. Statement information does not appear on applicable \n accounts until the first statement date after the initial\n connection to National City.\n\n c. If you wish to use the export to Quicken or Money \n feature of National City Online Banking, make sure the \n Preference Save online banking data to Managing Your Money\n on Exit under Options from the File menu is not selected. \n\n d. The internal date of your PC must be accurate. \n Changing the internal date of your PC may results in \n inaccurate or incomplete financial information.\n\n\n 2. Modem Troubleshooting Tips\n\n Windows Modems: If you have a modem that uses \n specialized Windows drivers, such as the USR Winmodem, \n you may experience problems connecting with the Banking \n Center. If so, contact the modem's manufacturer for \n advice on how to configure the modem.\n\n 3. Known Problems\n \n a. On some printers, the footer on the printouts from the\n Banking Center may not be shown. If this occurs and you \n wish to view the footers on your reports, you will need \n to print them out in landscape mode.\n\n b. The National City Online Banking Center needs to use \n the MS Sans Serif font which is installed with Windows. \n If the program cannot access this font, the display in \n the program may look incorrect or the program will not \n run correctly. This problem can also occur if you have \\\n the 'Show Only True-Type Fonts in Applications' option\n selected in the Control Panel font settings.\n \n c. To permanently change the print setting, you must \n choose 'Setup' from the Print window. This window \n appears when you select Print from the File menu or the\n Print button within the Banking Center. Print settings\n selected from the Print Setup window accessed from the\n File menu may not be saved correctly.\n\n \n d. OCRAWARE and OCRAWARE32 (scanner software) are known\n to cause software conflicts. It is recommended that \n before running (fill in Bank Software name) that you turn\n off OCRAWARE and OCRAWARE32.\n____________________________________________________________\\\n\nII. National City Online Banking with Managing Your Money\n____________________________________________________________\n\n1. Information for All Users\n\n a. During the actual importing of your Banking Center \n files, you will notice the same file name displays more \n than once. This is normal as each file needs to be read \n several times to retrieve different types of transactions.\n\n b. If you are a MYM user, it is recommended that you \n always launch the Banking Center within MYM.\n\\\n c. The number of days MYM will use to match the date of a\n posted item to an existing transaction in the account\n register is set using the MYMWIN.INI file found in the\n NCOnline directory (or the directory name you chose to\n install into if you did not choose the default). If you\n find that MYM is incorrectly matching posted items, you \n can change the value of one of the following entries which\n are found under the [Banking Center] section of the \n MYMWIN.INI File.\n\n NonCheckDateRange=6\n This sets MYM to look up to 6 days before and after a \n posted transaction for a match. This is used for all \n posted items with the exception of checks.\n\n CheckDateRange=60\n This sets MYM to look up to 60 days previous to a \n posted transaction for a match. This is used for checks\n only.\n\n CheckForwardDateRange=10\n This sets MYM to look up to 10 days after a posted\n transaction for a match. This is used for checks only.\n\n If you need to modify these settings, do NOT use Windows\n Write or any word-processing program. Windows Notepad is \n suitable for changing this file. You must only make these \n changes while the program is not running. Once you make \\\n changes, they will take effect the next time you import \n posted transactions from the Banking Center.\n\n\n2. General Information on Importing From:\n\n A. Prior Versions Of MYM For Windows\n\n Custom check forms created in a prior version of MYM \n for Windows will convert. However, the first time \n you print checks after the conversion, you will be\n asked to choose the check form again.\n\n B. Prior Versions of MYM For DOS\n\n 1. PORTFOLIOS: \n a. MYM for DOS removes the prior years' Income \n transactions during COPY. If you have Reinvested \n Dividends whose corresponding income transactions \n were removed during COPY, these will import as BUYS \n instead of REINVESTED. You will need to delete them \n in National City Online Banking with MYM and add them \n as REINVESTED.\n\n b. MYM for DOS Version 12: Return on Investment Old \n Income entries are not imported into National City\n Online Banking with MYM. Disregard the associated \n error message generated in the MYM Import log.\n\n 2. LOANS: \n\n Negative Escrow: National City Online Banking with MYM \n does not support Negative Escrow. It is suggested that \n you change it to positive after importing to avoid \n errors in your data.\n\n 3. LAST RECONCILED BALANCE:\n\n National City Online Banking with MYM does not import \n the last reconciled balance from MYM for DOS accounts. \n Instead, it calculates this balance after import by \n totaling the transactions marked "Reconciled" on the \n register. If you have manually marked a transaction \n as "Reconciled" in MYM for DOS, your last reconciled \n balance may be different after Import.\n\n 4. QUOTELINK:\n\n a. For MYM for Windows Version 1 users, the QuoteLink\n Only Import is no longer necessary as QuoteLink is \n supported in National City Online Banking with MYM.\n\n b. Please check your login script\n after import if you had modified it in MYM for DOS.\n\n 5. Prior Versions Of MYM CheckFree Services\n\n As mentioned in the User's Guide you must deactivate\n CheckFree prior to importing data into National City\n Online Banking with MYM. In any such case you need to\n follow this up with a written confirmation to CheckFree\n that you wish to cancel the service.\n\n D. Quicken(r), MS Money(r) And CA-Simply Money(r)\n\n Always consult the documentation provided with your \n personal finance software before importing data into\n National City Online Banking with MYM.\n\n 3. Known Problems\n \n a. Diamond Viper and AT Graphics Ultra Pro Video Cards:\n If you use one of these cards and choose to run with \n 16 colors at high resolution (800x600 or above), the\n SmartDesk screen will not be displayed correctly. \n Switching to 256 or more colors using the utilities \n provided by the video card manufacturer will correct\n this.\n\n b. High Resolution Video Cards: On some high \n resolution video cards set to 256 or more colors, the\n displayed colors may be incorrect in other applications\n after running National City Online Banking with MYM.\n Restarting the other application will correct this\n condition.\n\n c. Windows 95 users may not be able to use the Clock \n and Calendar features in National City Online Banking\n with MYM. The Clock.exe and Calendar.exe files are no\\\n longer included in the Windows 95 installation. If \n Windows 95 is installed as an upgrade from Windows 3.x,\n these features may still be available. Use the Menu \n Setup option under the Tools menu to edit the path to\n these programs or change the options to point to any\n other application you wish to use.\n\n d. Print Checks: Citizen 180D printers and some \n Panasonic printers do not print multiple pin-feed \n checks correctly with the Windows printer drivers that\n were available at the time of the release of National\n City Online Banking with MYM. You can either print one\n check at a time or set the printer to emulate another\n printer such as an Epson.\n \n e. Errors: If a "General Application Error" is receive\n please record what you were doing prior to the error\n occurring. Repeat the steps which caused the error. \n If the error recurs, please contact Technical Support\n at 1-888-622-4932. Displaying Graphs: National City Online Banking with\n MYM uses a program called GSW.EXE for displaying graphs.\n If another application which uses GSW.EXE is installed \n AFTER the installation of National City Online Banking \n with MYM, you may be unable to display graphs. (The \n other program may use an incompatible version of \n GSW.EXE.) To correct this, you will need to reinstall\n National City Online Banking With MYM.\n\n g.
