The Band first became widely known when they back Bob Dylan on his 1966 tour of the UK, and went on to record the historic Dylan "Basement Tapes" at their sprawling Woodstock headquarters, Big Pink. They performed together for over a decade and a half, finall withdrawning from touring with their famous "Last Waltz" concert. This collection presents twenty of the finest tracks The Band has recorded.
