Russian-born pianist Nina Postolovskaya began her musical\ntraining at the age of three with her father, the tenor of the \nOdessa Opera. Through the age of eighteen she studied\nat the Stoliarsky School of Music, graduating with high\nhonors. Her most influential teacher was the prominent\nprofessor of the Odessa Conservatory, Ludmilla Ginsburg, a\npupil of Heinrich Neuhas who was the famed teacher of \nGilels and Richter. Ms. Postolovskaya made her concert debut\nat the age of sixteen, performing Liszt's E-flat Piano Concerto, and\nsubsequently performed widely in the Soviet Union, while\nearning her Masters of Arts Degree at the Gorky Conservatory.\nAfter touring Europe in the summer of 1979, she immigrated\nto the United States and continued her performing career with\nappearences and broadcasts throughout the West Coast. In\nthe following years, she toured nationwide under the auspices\nof Columbia Artists, Inc. (Community Concerts) and also\nperformed as a soloist with numerous orchestras.\nMs. Postolovskaya has appeared as a soloist with the San\nFrancisco Midsummer Mozart Orchestra, conducted by George\nCleve, in the performance of Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 15 in\nB flat. In 1995, she will appear as a soloist with the Moscow\nChamber Orchestra at the International Music Festival in\nAthens, Greece and perform solo concerts throughout Germany.\nMs. Postolovskaya resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.\n\nSugo Music \nP.O.
