This is a pretty good list, with only a few errors. Oldies fans take note: "Take Good Care of my Baby" is by Bobby VEE, not Bobby Vinton. I'm an old musician, and I played back-up with Bobby Vee (Robert Thomas Veline) for years. If I'm not mistaken, this song ws released in 1967.
One or two songs listed were on the charts in 1969. And no "Summer of '68" list can be complete without Donovan's "Hurdy Gurdy Man" and Blood, Sweat, and Tears' (pre-David Clayton Thomas)"I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know."
I graduated from high school in 1968; as a real-life relic, I'd give this list an "8" on a scale of "10."
