South America itself is not a continent but a sub-continent. South,North and Central together is one continent only. Therefore, there are 5 Continents and they are;
1 - Americas (South, North and Central);
2 - Europa (West and East);
3 - Africa;
4 - Australasia (Asia, Australia + NZ);
5 - Antarctica

Should this geographic continent be named "Central & South America" ?
Also, I believe that with the exception of Canada, Mexico, and the United States of America as described for North America in this website, the remaining listed countries should be in the geographic continent of "Central & South America".
Has this changed since I was at school ?
