Destin LeCornu
Destin LeCornu is a Singer/Guitarist/Percussionist from Pennsylvania. He has been playing music all his life. He first started out on drums, banging on boxes, pans, and everything in reach. It was only around four years ago that he started playing guitar. "I had this old nylon-stringed guitar laying around the house. So I picked it up just to see if I could learn a few chords", says Destin. "I had written songs on the drums, but I had nothing to play the songs on but the drums." Picking up that guitar was a huge musicial leap for Destin. That's when he wrote his biggest hit, "Emery Street". He says, "I had written that song a while ago, but I thought it was just one of those songs that bites the dust. It was only a few years ago that I pulled that song out of the box and recorded it. I then played it at a school talent show and it became widely known throughout the school. I remember at the end of the day, I walked into the hall, only to hear the whole fourth grate singing Emery Street! I was shocked." Destin will release his debut album soon.
