I have own a Bolex 16mm rex since 1972. It was and is a super quality image producer. Unfortunately, film costs have made it difficult to use as an everyday media capture device but is cost effective for quality "traditional" animation if one has the time. Thanks for the excellent review on the H16 model history. My H16rex still runs as well as the firt day I used it with my elementary 3rd grade classes for school projects back in the 1970's. |
