Ladies and Gents: First of all, this is one cat that will never get old, only getting younger every day. With today's technology, there is little doubt that I will ever grow up, especially since there is access to all of the music I (theoretically) grew up with. I have decided to compile a list of songs in order to make my own c.d.s. Chicago radio sucks and I would much rather pay for a musical disk that has been formatted to my specifications. Going through the Billboard top 40 lists makes me wonder"What do I really like, did I really like that song, and do I really want to keep that song at home?" At any rate, someone suggested your website to me and they added that it is much more practical (and easier)than trying to remember all of those songs. Going through the list brings back many memories and it seems that as the music changes so does the world that reflects that era, for instance the songs of 1975. The one thing I especially remember about 1969 up until 1973 was the older teenage girls who used to work at the 5 and 10 stores such as Woolworths and Woolco. Not only were they as beautiful as goddesses but they would sometimes sing along to songs like "Walking in the rain with the one I love, What you see is what you get, and It's too late baby now". They would sell 45 records at these stores and although I could not afford to buy these songs, just the privilege of hearing these girls sing was enough of a luxury for me. Even the girls who worked at MacDonald's were like moviestars. It was as if the changing music was responsible for the gradual dissapearance of what I could not wait to grow up and be a teenager for. Gotta go, thank you very much. Joe Zamora

I love these yearly lists! Very accurate and complete, except they get cut off before they're complete. The 1975 list stops in the Ses.
